Sanderson Jones is co-founder and CEO of Sunday Assembly, a worldwide network of secular congregations that celebrate life through talks, comedy and songs. They started a global movement within a year and it is now even included in the GCSE syllabus for Religious Education! Sanderson himself holds two world records for the world’s longest hug!
In 2008 Sanderson Jones left his job as an advertising salesman to become a stand-up comedian. In 2012 he sold out the Sydney Opera House. In January 2013 Sanderson started Sunday Assembly with fellow comedian Pippa Evans. Almost 200 people turned up at the first meeting, 300 at the second and now there are over 70 Sunday Assembly chapters in 8 different countries where people sing songs, hear inspiring talks, and create community together.
